MALL is always looking for volunteers! We are a very small nonprofit, so any help you can offer will make a tremendous difference. Here are some of the volunteer opportunities we have available.
Booth Support/Tabling
Urgent Need. Do you enjoy connecting with people in our community? We’re looking for help setting up and operating our booth at festivals, craft fairs, and other local events.
Time Commitment: 2-4 hour shift, usually Saturday mornings.
Equipment Pickups/Dropoffs
We’re looking for volunteers to meet clients at our storage room and help them pick up or drop off medical equipment. You would also assist with processing new donations, cleaning, and organizing the space.
Time Commitment: 2-3 hours per shift. Weekday and Sunday afternoon shifts available.
Handyperson
Some of our donations need a little TLC when they arrive. We welcome those with general skills to do tasks that are similar to bicycle repair, as well as anyone with experience working with durable medical equipment or electronics.

Grant Finding and Writing
One of our biggest challenges has been to find grants that fit our organization’s needs. If you have access to grant databases and/or experience writing grants, we’d be eternally grateful for your help.

Online Outreach
This is a great way to help from home. We’re looking for people to monitor Facebook Marketplace and reach out to those who are selling mobility aids, to ask if they’d consider donating them instead. We also need help checking local community groups for potential clients who need equipment or assistance.
